I am a student of life, plain and simple. I have a beautiful family and an awesome workshop where I can make my guitars. I am also a graduate of the Crimson 6-Day Guitar Building Course! I started making guitars because I could never find a guitar that looked the way I wanted it to look. I love to make patterns and shapes with the wood and I try to incorporate that into as many builds as I can.

My entry for the GGBO 2021 is going to be a pair of sibling guitars. They will complement, as well as contrast, one another. I am calling the set, "The Calm Before the Storm." One will be thin, calm, consistent and shiny...while the other will be thicker, chaotic and satin. My main wood will be padauk, with other woods used for the fretboard and chaotic body (such as maple, sapele, and possibly some others). I will also be adding character to each guitar through stains and hardware color choices to really emphasize the feeling of each guitar!
